Time for an update, as you can see. It’s officially more then a month since I last did anything to this once a not so lively place.

School has been alright I guess and I’m starting to see my class more united.
I would have been at Bukit Chermin right at this moment training for tomorrow’s race! But sadly,
I don’t have transport up! How I wish to turn EIGHTEEN quick! Even tho I just turn seventeen
a few days back. Let’s have a break down on what happen the whole month of February since
I lost my cyber life.

Pedal Fest at JB- Mt Austin downhill challenge (6th-8th of February)

Friday
Went up with da xiong after school. The journey was surprising short and we manage to have a
couple of practice session after we check into hotel Vistara. Aaron, Rizal and gang came that
night and after they check in we all went to Jusco for dinner.

Saturday
we all woke up early to have breakfast at one of the mar-marts close to the hotel. After that
we all set up our race tents and got ready for a good 12 hour worth of training. The track at
Mt Austin was pretty dry and dusty like the ones I have been thru in hongkong.
A lot of pedaling and a few nice drops and berms. A track suited for my bottlerocket. Had a
few crashes during training but we ended the day starving. We totally forgot about lunch and
our only hydration was coke, 100 plus and more coke.

Sunday –Race day
same routine, woke up early, had breakfast at the same mar-mart and off we go.
Seeding was an eye opener, I mange to come in top among the juniors and I was really excited
and it was a kind of motivation that I can do better. Go faster since I wasn’t really pushing much.
Second seeding I came in top again and I was about 3 seconds faster then the second guy. After
the second run I was told that I stand a chance to win another pile of cash if I was the fastest guy
down! Since the elite riders aren’t eligible for this pool of cash and I was three of a hundred
seconds faster then Mie. I wanted that pile of cash! I gave it my all for the final run and I was
about 1 second faster then Mie. I won both the pile of cash and men’s junior.
Just 5 seconds behind from Hong Chun, I couldn't have felt any better.
